Q. Do you provide organic standards?

A. Yes. In 2002 Protocol Analytical joined the SPEX CertiPrep group of companies as the manufacturer of our organic standards for GC and GC/MS. All of these standards are included in our 2004/05 catalogue, as well as on this website.

Q. Are you ISO Certified?

A. Yes, we are ISO 9001:2000.

Q. Do you accept Credit Cards?

A. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. You may also use your credit card to order on-line.

Q. Are the Uranium standards natural or depleted? What are the isotopes for Uranium and Thorium?

A. Uranium is depleted. 99.777% U-238; 0.2213% U-235; 0.00089% U-234. The Thorium standards are 100% Th-232.

Q. How do I request a replacement Certificate of Analysis?

A. Our SPEXertificates are available by clicking on the "SPEXertificate" link on our homepage. Register for a USER ID and PASSWORD and print copies of our certificates quickly and easily. OR

Q. Are your standards traceable to NIST?

A. Yes. Unlike many manufacturers, every standard we manufacture is directly traceable to a NIST SRM.

Q. Is there a minimum volume for a custom standard?

A. We now supply inorganic custom standards in 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml and 1 Liter volumes. Organic standards are supplied in 1.2ml or 5.2ml ampule sizes.

Q. How can I receive a quote for a custom standard?

A. Complete the "Custom Order Request Form" under the link "Technical Services" on our homepage. The request form is automatically submitted to our sales reps, and someone will contact you within 24 hours with a price quotation. OR:
