The USEPA method 602 is an analytical method which utilizes a purge & trap device for sample prep and a gas chromatograph equipped with a packed column to perform the separation of the volatile aromatic components found in a 5 mL sample of municipal orindustrial wastewater. To detect the GS eluant a PID (Photoionization) detector is used.
